watercolor paintings & art quilts

Judith G. Glover is a watercolorist and a fiber artist who often uses mixed media techniques in her paintings and her art quilts. She has a strong interest in landscapes and seascapes that often include architectural and structural subjects like historic homes, and public buildings or boats, docks, harbors, and piers.

Many of her paintings are created as private or corporate commissions. Among her corporate clients, Wachovia, now Wells Fargo bank, commissioned the greatest number of her watercolor paintings in the past.  All the Wells Fargo paintings are about historic scenes from within the city where they are located.

The Kinston, Greenville, and Washington, North Carolina offices of Wells Fargo have five of Judith’s paintings hanging in each of the board rooms. The Rocky Mount, North Carolina office has three paintings behind the teller line in its main lobby.

In the past Judy has worked with an art consultant from Winston-Salem and a gallery in Durham. She is interested in placing her work in private homes and corporate buildings including health care facilities and banks. She is also interested in government-funded, Percent for Art programs in public spaces.
